Release Notes

Version 1.1 of the Kinect for Silverlight library

New in this release:
  • Ability to work with both the event system and the Kinect at the same time.
  • Fixed a minor bug where smoothing parameters were not applied on a skeleton.

New in the test application:
  • Drawing of a skeleton.
  • Out of browser and elevated trust checks.
  • Posibility to change the elevation angle of the sensor.

NOTE: When you use the XAP file that is available here, only the skeletal tracking and the transform gesture (with both hands moving in front of the body) are enabled. If you want to use the other gestures, please download the source code and comment/uncomment code for whatever you want to use or don't want to use.

Reviews for this release

Not working. Ran VS as administrator, installed the silverlight and the buttons and textbox for the angle lit up. Windows Kinect didn't respond. Works fine with Sketal tracking. Looks good. Likely either me or the app.
